Luna Gold Corp. engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and operation of gold properties in Brazil. Its principal project, the Aurizona gold mine, comprises 1 mining license and 3 exploration permits covering an area of approximately 15,500 hectares located in Maranhao, Brazil. The company also holds interest in the Luna Greenfields exploration property, which covers an area of approximately 190,000 hectares in Brazil.


Luna Gold is going through a corporate and financial restructuring including the temporary shut down of operations in Brazil so that studies, exploration and construction of new facilities can be completed. A new management team was put in place and financing completed to advance the strategic vision of the company and build a strong foundation for a sustainable and profitable future.

Simas Logística is a privately held Brazilian corporation focused on logistics solutions throughout Brazil and the world. It is a full service provider of multimodal transport, moving, storage, inventory control and distribution throughout Brazil.
